[삼매]죽은 삼매에만 머물지 말라!
삼매는 고요한 세계가 아니다. 살아있는 세계다.
우리가 삼매에 들어가야 하는 이유는 몰입하기 위해서도,
시공이 멈춘 그 세계, 진리의 당체를 경험하기 위해서가 아니다.
모든 것이 하나에서 나옴에, 그 하나,
그 중에서도 모든 것이 나오는 그 ‘근본 하나’를 보기 위해서이다.
빅뱅이 일어나기 전, 시공이 갈라지기 전,
모든 것의 근원점이 그 세계를 본다는 것은,
그 후의 세계를 총체적으로 아는데 큰 도움이 된다(프랙탈 이론).
그러므로 삼매 체험을 하고 나서 삼매에 머물기만 해서는 안 된다.
삼매의 세계가 현실에 살아 움직여야 한다.
근본 세계가 현실 세계로 응용, 탄생해야 하는 것이다.
그것은 죽은 세계, 고요한 세계, 어둠의 세계가 아니라
밝은 세계, 생명이 약동하는 세계,
모든 것이 기쁨과 생명력으로 충만한 세계이다.
죽은 삼매에만 머물지 말라!
그런 삼매에 머무는 한 삼매는 아무 소용이 없다.
생명이 약동하고 생명이 꽃피는 이 세계를 만들 수 없다.
그러므로 화엄경에는
고요한 세계만 찾는 소승의 수행자들은
결코 약동의 화엄 세계를 이해할 수 없다는 말씀이 나오는 것이다.
