[꿈에 만나 뵌 광덕 큰스님]
-새벽에 잠을 깨고...
그토록 뵙고 싶었던 큰스님 법회
큰스님 살아 생전에는 인연 없고
떠나신 다음 꿈에서 얻다
맨 앞에 앉아 기다리던 저에게
환한 웃음 머금으시고 강단에 오르신 큰스님
그리고 자비 가득하신 모습으로
터뜨리는 사자후
장면은 바뀌어 한적한 시골 길
여기저기 꽃은 맑게 피어 살랑거리는데
큰스님 모시고 시골 길 걷는 나
그토록 사모하던 큰스님 모시고
한가로운 시골 흙길 걷는 기쁨이란...
어머니 함께 외갓집 가는 어린 아이 마냥
날아갈 듯 걷는데
간간이 미소지으시며
던져주시는 격려의 말씀
그 말씀에 환희용약하며 기쁨이 끝없는데
갑자기 생각나는 떠나시는 큰스님
큰스님, 이제 가실텐데
큰스님, 이제 가실텐데...
그 생각에 솟아나는 슬픔과 눈물
나이도 잊고 체면도 잊고
큰스님 발 밑에 엎드려 목놓아 우나니...
말없이 미소지으시며 바라보는 큰스님
서러움과 외로움에 놀라
화들짝 눈을 뜨니
밖은 아직도 캄캄한 새벽
오직 캄캄한 어둠 속에
큰스님 미소만 환하여라...
