[관세음과 보현보살의 차이]
관세음은 중생이 부르면 달려오나,
또 그러므로 관음을 불러라 했으나
보현은 안 불러도 오는 분!
그것이 보현의 원이고 행입니다
중생이 아무리 못난 짓을 하고
아무리 암흑 그 자체이더라도,
보현은 스스로 중생의 아픔을 살피고
부르지 않아도 가는 분!
당신의 생명을,
알지도 부르지도 못하는 분에게
오직 바치시는 분!
그리고 아무 것도
바라지 않는 분!
그 분이 보현!
그러므로 조건이 있으면
보현행이 아닙니다
상대가 잘 하면 잘 하고
못하면 같이 못하는 것은
보현의 원과 행이 아닙니다
보현의 원과 행은
오직 바치고!
오직 공양할 뿐
상대가 나를 좋아하고 나를 싫어하고
상대가 나를 부르고 안 부르고가 상관없는 것입니다
보현의 마음 속엔 오직 하나,
저 중생을 구원하리라!
저 중생을 부처님처럼 모시리라!
저 분이 저렇게 못난 모습을 보이는 것은
단 하나,
대접을 못 받아 그런 것일 뿐
본래 모습에 조금도 차별이 없으니
저 분이 아무리 못난 짓을 하고
심지어 나를 핍박하더라도
나는 저 분을
끝까지!
부처님으로 모시고 공양하리라
부르지 않아도 가고
청하지 않아도 공양하리라...
오직 이 한 마음으로
깜깜한 어둠 속으로
누가 봐도 100 % 절망뿐인 그 속으로
죽을 줄 알면서도
혼신의 힘을 다해 오직 하나의 원으로
무모한(?) 몸과 마음 다 던지시는 분이
보현보살이시며
보현의 원과 행입니다
그러므로
중생계가 끝없고 중생의 번뇌가 끝없어도
보현의 원과 행은
끝이 없는 것입니다...
